Eating & Drinking

Initially we are only serving drink – food will come later. You can order your drink from the designated order point at the bar and collect from the designated pick up point. During busy periods, we may offer table service.

We would encourage you to use contactless payment whenever possible.

Book a table

For the foreseeable future, we will be operating a booking only system throughout the weekend (Friday – Sunday Inc.). Tables will be for a 2-hour time slot and can be booked for a maximum of 6 people (see government guidelines). From Monday – Thursday Inc. booking is advised; however, it is possible that a table may be available at the time of your arrival, but this is NOT guaranteed. Table bookings are by telephone ONLY. Please call 01904 438888 to book your table.

If your table is outdoors and the weather changes, you will not be guaranteed a table inside. There will however be some sheltered seating outside which you may be able to use if available.

maximum of two people will be permitted in the toilets at any time. Please be courteous and respect social distancing measures.

Unfortunately vaping will no longer be permitted within the building. Should you wish to go outside for a vape or a cigarette you will only be able to use the designated area. The existing smoking shelter will only accommodate 4 people max. at any time. There will however be additional smoking areas provided. Should you wish to use the smoking shelter please ask staff to provide you with a pass to re-enter the building.

Initially, children and anyone under the age of 18 years will not be permitted in any area of the premises. The play area is temporarily out of bounds. This will be reviewed regularly and will change when we feel it is safe to do so.

Due to capacity regulations, dogs will not be permitted stay inside the building. If you want to bring your dog, you will have to book a table outside. This is a temporary measure only.

Entry/Exit of the building

We will operate a one-way system i.e. one way in and one-way out. You will enter through the front door only and leave by the car park door. Dogs will obviously have to walk through the lounge to get to the garden area. You will not be able to enter/exit via the garden gate which will be used as a fire exit only.

Respect the staff

During this difficult period, changes have been forced upon us. As we are all adjusting to the government guidelines, we ask that you always remain respectful to our team. Please work with us when requested to do something which we may ask in line with government guidelines (e.g. social distancing etc.) if you do not respect the new policies and regulations, you may be asked to leave.

Please help us do all we can to help each other and to prevent any further spread of COVID-19.

This is all new to everyone so please be patient as we all get used to these new procedures
